Imitation River Rock are constructed of Ceramic Fiber and Gel Cast. They are designed for use on your outdoor/indoor burner with a sand or lava rock base. Please only use lava rock as a base for outdoor applications. Bagged as an 84 piece set of Black Stones. Large pieces are approx. 4.5 inches and small pieces are approx. 2.5 inches. A complete set is 1/2 cubic foot. Single layer coverage (usually placed over crushed lava rock) is 4 square feet per set.
